Creatium Review (2026): Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict
Creatium is an AI coaching and interactive learning platform, and it is the rare L&D tool that publishes real prices instead of a demo form. Best for: individuals who want an AI coach at $20/mo and teams building interactive training. Price: from $20/mo (free plan: no). Rating: 7/10.
Creatium Coach launched on Product Hunt on 1 September 2026 and reached the top five for the day. We went through the pricing page, the FAQ, the about page and the security page, and found a company doing something unusual for corporate learning software: naming numbers. We also found one number that means nothing at all, which we will come back to.
What is Creatium?
Creatium builds AI coaching and interactive learning, sold as three products off one engine. Coach is for one person: an AI coach you talk to, type to, or work through, structured so every step ends in a goal you actually reach. Studio is the authoring tool for teams, used to build simulations, roleplays that push back, video reels and knowledge checks. The APIs expose the underlying voice, avatar and video to developers who want to put coaching inside their own product.
The team is the reason to take it seriously. Co-founder and CEO Dr. Deepak Sekar holds 270 issued patents and previously founded and ran Chowbotics, which DoorDash acquired. Co-founder Maria Walley grew Verily to a million monthly views and ran video content at Microsoft Learn. Co-founder Pranav Mehta is a Microsoft alumnus. Kelly King, VP of Operations, was Program Director of the StartEd Accelerator. The company first launched on Product Hunt on 28 September 2025, where it placed second for the day, so Coach is a second act rather than a first swing. Creatium publishes named results too: 2.4x higher engagement at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, 5x deeper conversations at a Fortune 100, 95% of users at MGT finding value, and a +0.48 effect size from research with the University of Georgia. That last figure is the one an L&D buyer should care about, because effect size is the language academic learning research actually speaks.
What Are Creatium’s Key Features?
Coach: goal-driven AI coaching with live avatars
Coach is built around reps, not videos. You set a goal, and each session ends when you have hit it, through talking, typing or doing. The example on Creatium’s own homepage walks a user through defining a niche, building an offer, pricing with confidence, running the pitch call, handling pushback, and closing. Sessions run with live instant avatars, so the coaching happens out loud rather than as chat. At $20 a month with no sales call, this is the only part of Creatium a solo founder or an individual operator can buy on impulse, and it is clearly positioned that way.
Studio: simulations and roleplays that push back
Studio is where teams build. The distinctive pieces are simulations you can run repeatedly (survive a bad quarter, work a shift two people short, spot the phishing email) and roleplays designed to resist you rather than agree with you. Anyone who has sat through a compliance module knows the difference between watching a scenario and being made to handle one badly, then handle it again. Creatium claims teams produce learning content 5 to 8 times faster than traditional production. Treat that as a vendor number, but the underlying claim, that generating a roleplay is faster than scripting and filming one, is hard to argue with.
Enterprise plumbing that is already in place
This is where Creatium separates from the AI-course startups it will get compared to. Coach content is SCORM-compliant and distributes through your existing LMS with progress tracking. There is enterprise SSO. It claims conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508, including captions and screen-reader support, with a VPAT on request. It states GDPR and UK GDPR compliance and support for FERPA obligations on education data. On-premise deployment is available, and the company states it never uses customer inputs, outputs or personal information to train third-party AI. That list is the difference between a tool that survives a security review and one that dies in it.
Voice, avatar and video as APIs
The third product exposes the engine directly. Creatium claims its voice, avatar and video APIs run at 10x lower cost than comparable alternatives. We cannot check that, because the APIs are not out. The pricing page says they open in September and offers an email capture in the meantime, with usage-based billing separate from Coach and Studio and no rates published. If you are evaluating Creatium as an API vendor today, you are evaluating a waitlist.
How Much Does Creatium Cost?
Creatium Coach is $20 a month for one person, self-serve, no sales call. Creatium Studio starts at $250 a month for one seat and 500 tokens, then $500 a month for up to three seats and 1,800 tokens, then $2,000 a month for up to ten seats and 10,000 tokens. Enterprise is custom. The per-token rate falls as you scale: $0.50 on one seat, $0.28 on three, $0.20 on ten, which Creatium correctly describes as 44% and 60% cheaper per token than a single seat. Annual figures are printed right on the cards: $3,000, $6,000 and $24,000.
Against the category, the $20 Coach tier is aggressive. Articulate 360, the incumbent authoring suite, costs $1,449 to $1,749 per user per year, so a single Articulate seat runs $120 to $146 a month. Synthesia sits closer, with a free tier at 10 minutes of video a month, Starter at $29/mo and Creator at $89/mo, but Synthesia makes videos rather than coaching. Sana publishes no pricing at all. Creatium’s Studio entry point at $250/mo is roughly two Articulate seats, which is a defensible ask for a different category of output.
There is no free plan. Creatium says so plainly in its own FAQ: “Not right now. Coach is $20 a month and Studio starts at $250 a month.” We would rather have that than a fake free tier, and $20 is a low enough entry that it barely matters for Coach. For Studio it matters a lot, because $250 a month is a real commitment and the only way to see it first is to book a demo.
The token is priced but never defined
This deserves its own heading because it is the biggest problem on the page. Studio is sold in tokens. Creatium tells you a token costs $0.50, or $0.28, or $0.20. It tells you a plan includes 500, 1,800 or 10,000 of them. It never tells you what one is. We swept the homepage, the pricing page, the FAQ, the Studio page, the Coach page, the about page, the user guide, the security page and the terms. Every single mention of “token” is a statement about what a token costs, and not one is a statement about what a token does. Is it a generated roleplay? A minute of avatar video? A learner completion? A word, in the LLM sense? The word “token” carries a specific meaning to anyone who has bought AI capacity before, and that meaning would make 500 of them worthless, so the word is probably doing something else here. We are not going to guess, and neither should you.
Practically: if you are looking at Studio, make the demo call about this before anything else. Ask how many tokens your actual first project consumes, get the answer in writing, and only then decide which rung of the ladder you are on. The step from $250 to $500 more than triples your token allowance, so the answer to that one question determines whether the middle plan is a bargain or a mistake.
| Plan | Price | Plan Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creatium Coach | $20/mo | One person. Your own AI coach with live instant-avatar sessions. Self-serve, no sales call needed. No team plan. | Individuals building a specific rehearsable skill |
| Studio, 1 seat | $250/mo | 500 tokens a month at $0.50 per token. $3,000 a year. Admin controls, reporting and priority support. | One person building interactive training |
| Studio, up to 3 seats | $500/mo | 1,800 tokens a month at $0.28 per token, 44% cheaper per token than one seat. $6,000 a year. | A small team building together |
| Studio, up to 10 seats | $2,000/mo | 10,000 tokens a month at $0.20 per token, 60% cheaper per token than one seat. $24,000 a year. | A department building at scale |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom deployment and security review, dedicated success manager, SSO and advanced admin, custom SLA. | Large organisations with procurement requirements |
Who is Creatium Best For?
Use Creatium Coach if you are an individual working on a specific, rehearsable skill: pitching, pricing conversations, interviews, difficult feedback, manager readiness. At $20 a month it competes with a book, not with a coach, and the roleplay format is the right one for skills that fail under pressure rather than from lack of information. Use Creatium Studio if you run learning and development for a team, you already have an LMS, and your security review has real teeth. SCORM, SSO, WCAG 2.1 AA, FERPA and on-premise deployment are not things a young startup usually has ready, and they are exactly what stalls procurement.
Skip Creatium if you want to try before you pay, because there is no free tier and no self-serve path into Studio at all. Skip it if you are shopping for a video generator, where Synthesia at $29/mo does a narrower job for a tenth of the price. Skip it if you need the voice, avatar or video APIs now, because they had not shipped when we looked. And skip Studio, for the moment, if you cannot get a straight answer on what a token buys, because you cannot size a plan without it.
Best Creatium Alternatives
Articulate 360 is the incumbent, at $1,449 to $1,749 per user per year with a 30-day free trial that needs no credit card. It gives you the deepest authoring toolset in the category, AI translation into 80+ languages, and a built-in LMS for up to 300 active learners on the Teams plan. It is the safe institutional choice. It is also roughly six to seven times the price of a Creatium Studio seat at the entry rung, and its output is courses rather than coaching.
Synthesia is the one to compare on video specifically. Free gets you 10 minutes of video a month, Starter is $29/mo for 10 minutes of video or AI dubbing, Creator is $89/mo for 30 minutes, and Enterprise is unlimited. Custom Studio Express-1 avatars are a $1,000/year add-on on annual plans. If your requirement is “turn this deck into a presenter video in 40 languages”, Synthesia does it cheaper and better. If your requirement is “make someone practise the conversation”, it does not do it at all.
Sana is the closest philosophical competitor, an AI-native learning and knowledge platform aimed at the same enterprise L&D buyer. It is well funded and well regarded. It also publishes no pricing whatsoever, so every evaluation starts with a sales call and you cannot benchmark it against anything without one. That is the norm in this category, which is precisely why Creatium printing $20, $250, $500 and $2,000 on a public page counts for something.
Final Verdict: Is Creatium Worth It?
Creatium Coach at $20 a month is an easy yes to try. The team has a real track record, the research backing is specific rather than decorative, the enterprise plumbing is already built, and $20 is less than most people spend on tools they open twice a month. The roleplay-and-simulation format is the correct answer for skills that live in conversations, and the published effect size from the University of Georgia work is a better signal than any testimonial on the page.
Studio is a harder call, and the reason is not the price. It is that a company this careful about disclosure, publishing per-seat token rates, annual totals, accessibility conformance and a plain “no, there is no free trial”, somehow shipped a pricing model denominated in a unit it never defines. Everything else on that page is honest. Fix that one gap and Studio is an easy recommendation. Until then, buy Coach without much thought, and do not sign a Studio plan until someone at Creatium has told you, in writing, what 500 tokens actually gets you. We rate it 7/10.

Creatium Studio starts at $250 a month for one seat and 500 tokens, then $500 a month for up to three seats and 1,800 tokens, then $2,000 a month for up to ten seats and 10,000 tokens. That works out at $0.50, $0.28 and $0.20 per token, and $3,000, $6,000 and $24,000 a year. Enterprise is custom priced.
Is Creatium worth it?
Coach at $20 a month is an easy yes to try, given the team's track record, the published research and the low entry price. Studio is a harder call, not because of the price but because it is denominated in tokens that Creatium never defines anywhere on its site. Do not sign a Studio plan until someone tells you in writing what 500 tokens buys. We rate it 7/10.
What are the best Creatium alternatives?
Articulate 360 is the incumbent authoring suite at $1,449 to $1,749 per user per year with a 30-day free trial. Synthesia is the pick for AI video specifically, with a free tier of 10 minutes a month, Starter at $29/mo and Creator at $89/mo. Sana is the closest philosophical competitor for AI-native enterprise learning, but publishes no pricing at all, so every evaluation begins with a sales call.
Does Creatium offer a free plan?
No. Creatium says so directly in its own FAQ: there is no free way to try it right now. Coach is $20 a month and Studio starts at $250 a month. If you want to see Studio before committing, the only route is to book a demo. Creatium being explicit about this is better than a token free tier, but it does mean you cannot evaluate Studio without talking to sales.
Who is Creatium best for?
Coach suits individuals working on a rehearsable skill such as pitching, pricing conversations, interviews, difficult feedback or manager readiness. Studio suits learning and development teams that already run an LMS and face a real security review, because SCORM, SSO, WCAG 2.1 AA, FERPA support and on-premise deployment are already in place. Skip it if you want to try before paying, or if you only need a video generator.
