HEVN Review (2026): Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict

Reviewed by MakerStack · Published · 7 min read

HEVN is a fintech platform giving cross-border companies named business accounts, multi-currency balances and payments across SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, UAE FTS and stablecoin rails. Best for: exporters and non-US companies that need USD access. Price: from $25/mo plus 0.75% per payment. Rating: 7/10.

What is HEVN?

HEVN is a global business account and payments platform aimed squarely at companies that traditional banks find annoying: an Austrian fertiliser exporter collecting AED in Dubai, a Canadian software shop taking USD from American clients and paying contractors in the UAE, a business running one payout to forty overseas contractors. It runs on two entities. HEVN Inc. is a Delaware company with a Sacramento mailing address, and HVN Software Limited is a Hong Kong company, registration number 8033691, incorporated on 7 May 2026. US customers generally contract with the Delaware entity and everyone else with the Hong Kong one.

Read that incorporation date twice. The entity that will hold the contract for most non-US customers is under four months old. HEVN is also explicit that it is not a bank and holds no banking or money-transmission licence of its own. US accounts come through regulated banking partners via Conduit Technology, Inc., a FinCEN-registered money services business. None of that is disqualifying, and HEVN discloses it properly, but if you are moving your company’s operating cash you should know exactly who is holding it.

What are HEVN’s key features?

Named accounts, not a pooled wallet

This is the real product. Most consumer-grade fintech wallets issue account details under the provider’s name, which means your customer sees somebody else’s company on the transfer. HEVN issues details in your own company’s name at regulated partner banks in the US, the EU and the UAE, and the site claims those open in days rather than the months a traditional bank takes. If you have ever had an enterprise customer’s finance team refuse to pay a mismatched beneficiary name, you know why this is worth $25 a month on its own.

Multiple rails from one balance

Hold USD, EUR, AED and more in one account and convert when you choose. Receive locally on ACH, SEPA or UAE FTS instead of eating an international wire. Send on SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, UAE FTS, UK FPS and CHAPS, SPEI, PSE, PIX, or stablecoin rails. Between two HEVN accounts, settlement runs on stablecoin rails and clears in minutes rather than waiting for a SWIFT cut-off. HEVN quotes up to $5M instantly within the network and same-day settlement up to $50M on supported payments, and claims 90% or more of supported SWIFT payments settle by the next business day.

Paperwork, generated

Bank confirmation letters, invoices, contracts, RFI response drafts, itemised invoices. This is the unglamorous half of cross-border trade and the half that eats a founder’s week. Every payment carries its UETR and you can pull the MT103 confirmation, which is the specific thing your counterparty’s bank will ask for and the specific thing most fintech dashboards will not give you.

App, API, CLI and an AI agent

You can drive HEVN from the dashboard, an API, a command line, or by chatting with an included finance assistant. There is a documented path to connect HEVN to Claude or Codex so an agent can query accounts, cards, balances and statements. Each plan bundles an AI credit allowance: $100 a month on Basic, $250 on Pro, $1,000 on Enterprise. Credit denominated in dollars, which we appreciate, because half the AI products we review this year price in an undefined unit.

How much does HEVN cost?

HEVN starts at $25 a month, and unusually for this category it publishes an actual rate card. Basic is $25 a month for one virtual account and up to $50,000 in monthly payment volume, at 0.75% on SEPA, ACH, domestic wire, UAE FTS and UK FTS, plus $25 on SWIFT. HEVN Pro is $89 a month for three accounts and up to $250,000 monthly, at 0.50% on the same rails. Enterprise is custom, for businesses moving $1M or more a month, at 0.10% to 0.20%. Stablecoin transfers are $0 on every tier. Billing three months up front takes 10% off.

The subscription is a rounding error. The percentage is the bill. Run Basic at its own $50,000 ceiling and the fees are $375 against a $25 plan, so you pay $400 in a month. Run the same $50,000 on Pro and it costs $89 plus $250, which is $339. Basic is $61 a month worse at its own advertised limit.

Solve for where that flips and it happens early. Basic costs 25 plus 0.75% of volume, Pro costs 89 plus 0.50%, and the two meet at $25,600 a month. Above that number Pro is cheaper, and $25,600 is barely half of Basic’s own ceiling. In other words, the entire top half of the volume band HEVN sells Basic for is a band where Basic is the wrong plan. Anyone moving more than about $26,000 a month should be on Pro on day one, and the pricing page does not tell them.

The same logic runs up the ladder. At Pro’s $250,000 ceiling you pay $89 plus $1,250, so the fee is fourteen times the subscription. At $1M a month Pro costs $5,089, while Enterprise at 0.20% is $2,000 in fees plus whatever base HEVN quotes, and at 0.10% it is $1,000. The Enterprise conversation is worth having a long way below the $1M threshold HEVN puts on the card.

Two costs are not published at all. The FX rate is “shown before conversion” and “reflects the selected currency pair, transaction size, and current market conditions,” which is a description of a process, not a price. Airwallex, by contrast, publishes 0.5% above interbank for major currencies. Card fees and account fees are not on the page either. HEVN’s own FAQ concedes that pricing “may include platform, account, transaction, card, conversion, and payment-rail fees.” The rate card beats the “book a call” wall most of this sector hides behind, but it is not the whole bill.

Who is HEVN best for?

Use HEVN if you are a non-US company that needs USD access, or a cross-border SMB whose KYB keeps stalling at ordinary banks. That is the case HEVN says it is built for, and the named-account-at-a-partner-bank structure is a real answer to it. Exporters, import businesses, logistics companies, agencies paying contractors across several jurisdictions, and Web3-adjacent businesses that need clean stablecoin-to-fiat settlement all fit.

Use it too if paperwork is your bottleneck. If you are chasing bank confirmation letters and MT103s by email, the automation here saves more hours than the FX saves dollars.

Skip HEVN if you are a US company that a US bank will happily onboard. Mercury gives you free business banking with no monthly fee, and you do not need a fintech layer to solve a problem you do not have. Skip it if your payment volumes are small enough that 0.75% on everything outweighs the convenience. And think hard before parking large balances, because deposit insurance applies only conditionally to eligible fiat deposits at the applicable partner, digital assets held in the self-custodial wallet are not insured at all, and the non-US contracting entity is four months old.

What are the best HEVN alternatives?

Mercury. Free business banking at $0 a month, Plus at $29.90 and Pro at $299. Better than HEVN if you are a US-incorporated company, and unavailable to you if you are not. Mercury’s constraint is exactly HEVN’s opportunity.

Airwallex. A free Explore plan at $0 per user per month with up to ten spend users, Grow at $12 per user per month, and a published FX rate of 0.5% above interbank for major currencies. Broader coverage, a real card and spend product, and crucially an FX margin you can read before you sign. If your main cost is currency conversion rather than payment routing, price Airwallex first.

Wise Business. The default for small cross-border payments, with per-transfer pricing and no monthly subscription on the base account. Wise wins on transparency and simplicity. HEVN wins when you need a named account, exotic rails like UAE FTS, or stablecoin settlement, none of which Wise does.

Final verdict: is HEVN worth it?

HEVN is doing something specific and doing it well. Named accounts in your own company’s name, opened in days, across US, EU and UAE partner banks, with stablecoin settlement between HEVN accounts and the trade paperwork generated for you. For a cross-border SMB that keeps failing KYB at ordinary banks, that combination is hard to assemble anywhere else, and $25 a month to start is a low bar to clear. Publishing a per-rail rate card at all puts HEVN ahead of most of its competitors on transparency.

Two things hold the score at 7. The Basic plan is mispriced against its own volume band, and any customer above roughly $26,000 a month who trusts the pricing page is overpaying. And the FX margin, the one cost that will actually dominate a currency-heavy business, is not published anywhere. Ask for the FX spread in writing and model your real monthly volume against both paid tiers before you pick one. Do that and HEVN is a strong choice for the exact company it was built for. Do not do it and you will pay for the plan that looked cheapest on the page.

HEVN Pros & Cons

What We Like

  • Named account details in your own company name at regulated partner banks, not a pooled provider wallet
  • Publishes an actual per-rail rate card, which almost nobody in cross-border fintech does
  • Rails include SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, UAE FTS, UK FPS and CHAPS, SPEI, PSE, PIX and stablecoins from one balance
  • Generates bank confirmation letters, invoices and contracts, and exposes UETR and MT103 on every payment
  • Drivable from app, API, CLI or an AI assistant, with a documented path to connect Claude or Codex

What Could Be Better

  • Basic is the wrong plan above $25,600 a month of volume, which is barely half of its own $50k ceiling
  • The FX margin is never published, only described as reflecting market conditions
  • Card fees and account fees are absent from the pricing page, and the FAQ admits the bill may include both
  • HEVN is not a bank and holds no licence of its own; regulated services come through partners and Conduit Technology, Inc.
  • The non-US contracting entity, HVN Software Limited, was only incorporated on 7 May 2026

HEVN FAQ

What is HEVN?

HEVN is a financial technology platform for global business accounts, cross-border payments, contractor operations, invoices and finance automation. It issues named account details in your company name at regulated partner banks in the US, the EU and the UAE, and settles between HEVN accounts on stablecoin rails.

How much does HEVN cost?

HEVN Basic is $25 a month for one account, up to $50k monthly volume and 0.75% payment fees. HEVN Pro is $89 a month for three accounts, up to $250k monthly volume and 0.50% fees. Enterprise is custom at 0.10% to 0.20%. Stablecoin transfers are $0 and billing quarterly takes 10% off.

Is HEVN worth it?

Yes for cross-border SMBs that keep failing KYB at ordinary banks, because named accounts opened in days across three regions are hard to assemble elsewhere. Model your real monthly volume against both paid tiers first, and ask for the FX spread in writing, because it is the cost that will dominate a currency-heavy business.

What are the best HEVN alternatives?

Mercury offers free US business banking at $0 a month, with Plus at $29.90 and Pro at $299, but only for US-incorporated companies. Airwallex has a free Explore plan, Grow at $12 per user a month, and a published FX rate of 0.5% above interbank. Wise Business charges per transfer with no subscription.

Does HEVN offer a free plan?

No. HEVN has no free tier. Paid plans start at $25 a month for Basic, and the site offers a free consultation with an account manager who will review your case and recommend payment rails and banks rather than a self-serve free plan.

Who is HEVN best for?

Non-US companies needing USD access, exporters, importers, logistics firms, agencies paying contractors across jurisdictions, and Web3-adjacent businesses needing clean stablecoin-to-fiat settlement. Skip it if a US bank will happily onboard you, or if your volumes are small enough that 0.75% on everything outweighs the convenience.
