Streamoid Review (2026): Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict

Reviewed by MakerStack · Published · 7 min read

Streamoid is an agentic AI platform for fashion and retail brands, bundling design research, product imagery and catalog listing into one credit pool. Best for: mid-market fashion brands and marketplaces with real catalog volume. Price: Free with 300 credits, Pro from $50 per month, Enterprise on request. Rating: 7.5/10.

What is Streamoid?

Streamoid calls itself an operating system for fashion and lifestyle brands, which is vaguer than the product deserves. What it actually sells is three modules on one credit balance. Artifax handles design and insights: trend tracking, design direction, range planning and tech packs. Photogenix handles imagery and video: studio-grade product shots without a shoot, plus short campaign video. Catalogix handles cataloging and listing: structuring product data, enriching it, validating listings and publishing across marketplaces.

We came to Streamoid the long way round, through its Shopify app rather than the platform. Streamoid Technologies is an established company rather than a launch-week startup, and its customer quotes name real, large retailers: ABFRL, Ajio and NewMe. Those are recognisable names in Indian fashion retail, and the quotes are specific rather than decorative. Ajio’s says Catalogix took its seller data quality above 90%. ABFRL’s says catalog turnaround went to under two days. That is a meaningfully better class of proof than most products at this price.

What are Streamoid’s key features?

Artifax: range planning and tech packs

The design module tracks market insights and brand activity, explores design directions, and turns a design into a production-ready tech pack. It also includes a salability prediction that scores a design against bestsellers, forecasts and trends. Range planning is the standout here because it is the part of the job that normally runs on a merchandiser’s spreadsheet and institutional memory. Free gets you 3 range plans and manual tech pack fill. Pro gets 10 plans and 5 generated tech packs.

Photogenix: product imagery and short video

This is the module most people will evaluate first. It generates studio-grade product images, edits them in bulk, produces short video from a still, swaps video backgrounds, creates UGC-style content, and handles automated shoot configuration across a product set. Free output is watermarked. Pro removes the watermark, which is the single most important difference between the tiers for anyone planning to publish.

Catalogix: attribute extraction and marketplace publishing

Catalogix reads attributes off product images at two quality levels, express and precise, or off product text. It writes titles, descriptions, SEO content and size charts, extracts text from images, identifies pose type, generates detail shots, translates both data and imagery, and runs automated quality checks before publishing across channels. For a marketplace or a brand onboarding vendor data, this is the module that pays for the platform.

Marketplace exports and channel publishing

Products go out to channels rather than sitting in Streamoid. Free covers up to 300 marketplace exports, Pro up to 1,000, Enterprise unlimited. Combined with the validation step, this is what separates the platform from a folder of generated images: the assets and the structured data land where they need to be.

Enterprise security controls

SSO and SAML, role-based access control, audit logs, data residency and region controls, and a custom data retention agreement are all available. Note where they sit, which we cover below.

How much does Streamoid cost?

Streamoid starts free with 300 credits a month, and Pro starts at $50 a month for 1,000 credits. Enterprise is contact sales. Credits roll over month to month and only expire if the plan lapses, which is more generous than the use-it-or-lose-it norm. At $50 for 1,000 credits, a Streamoid credit costs 5 cents.

Comparison is awkward because nothing else bundles design, imagery and catalog data the same way. Creatify, a pure AI video and ad tool, charges $39 a month for 100 credits and $99 for 300. Photoroom sells product imagery on a tiered credit model but does not put a figure where we could confirm it, so we will not quote one. Vue.ai, the closest fashion-AI comparison, publishes no pricing at all and its pricing page returns a 404. On that field, publishing a $50 self-serve tier at all makes Streamoid the transparent option.

How many credits does each action actually cost?

Streamoid never publishes a rate card. It publishes a comparison table with roughly 35 rows of allowances. Those two facts turn out to be the same fact, because every allowance is just the credit pool divided by a fixed per-action rate, and the rates are identical on Free and Pro. Divide and the whole rate card falls out.

  • 1 credit: image edit, background removal, marketplace export, automated shoot configuration per product. Free allows 300 edits from 300 credits, Pro allows 1,000 from 1,000.
  • 2 credits: detail shots, text extraction, product titles and descriptions, SEO content, size charts, quality checks. Free 150 from 300, Pro 500 from 1,000.
  • 3 credits: express attributes from images, attributes from text, translation. Free 100 from 300, Pro 333 from 1,000.
  • 5 credits: image generation, vectorization and colorways, Catalogix background removal. Free 60 from 300, Pro 200 from 1,000.
  • 7 credits: precise attributes from images. Free 42 from 300, Pro 142 from 1,000.
  • 15 credits: video from an image, automated moodboards. Free 20 from 300, Pro 66 from 1,000.
  • 20 credits: video with background changes, UGC content. Free 15 from 300, Pro 50 from 1,000.
  • 100 credits: a range plan. Free 3 from 300, Pro 10 from 1,000.
  • 200 credits: a tech pack. Pro 5 from 1,000.

Every one of those reconciles exactly across both tiers, so this is the real pricing model rather than a guess. In dollars on Pro: an AI product image costs 25 cents, a short video 75 cents, a background-swapped video $1, a precise attribute extraction 35 cents, a range plan $5 and a tech pack $10. Against a photoshoot or an outsourced cataloging vendor, those numbers are very good. Streamoid should publish this table itself.

Why the comparison table promises more than the plan delivers

Now the flip side of that arithmetic, and it is the main criticism of this review. The comparison table reads as roughly 35 independent allowances. Pro says up to 200 generated images, and up to 1,000 image edits, and up to 66 videos, and up to 500 SEO descriptions, and up to 10 range plans, and up to 5 tech packs. Read down the column and it looks like a lot of product for $50.

It is one pool. Those numbers are alternatives, not additions. Each row is what you could do if you spent every credit on that one action and nothing else. Take just four of the Pro rows at their stated maximum and the cost is 200 images at 5 credits, 1,000 edits at 1 credit, 66 videos at 15 credits and 500 descriptions at 2 credits, which comes to roughly 4,000 credits against a pool of 1,000. You can have about a quarter of one column, not the column.

Nothing here is dishonest. The header does say credits, and a footnote explains rollover. But a buyer skimming three columns of “up to” figures will form a picture of the value that the credit pool cannot support, and will discover it in week two. Budget in credits from day one, using the rate card above, and ignore the allowance rows entirely.

Two smaller gaps in the same area. Pro is labelled “Starting from $50” and the page never explains what makes it more, so presumably seats or volume, but there is no published overage or top-up rate anywhere. And no tier states anything about users or seats at all. For a platform sold to fashion teams, that is a strange omission.

Who is Streamoid best for?

Use Streamoid if you are a fashion or lifestyle brand or a marketplace with a catalog large enough that imagery and product data are recurring line items rather than one-off projects. The sweet spot is a team already spending money on photoshoots, cataloging agencies or vendor data cleanup, because those are the costs the credit rates undercut. The named customers are large Indian retailers, so if you are in that market the reference calls will be easy to get.

Skip Streamoid if you only need one of the three modules. If product imagery is all you want and you sell on Shopify, the company’s own Photogenix Shopify app is $25 a month for 160 product images plus 50 videos. That is about 16 cents an image against 25 cents on the parent platform, so the standalone app is meaningfully cheaper per image and you give up Artifax and Catalogix to get it. Also skip Pro if you need SSO, role-based access control, audit logs or data residency, because every security control is Enterprise-only. Pro gets none of them, which puts any buyer with a compliance checklist straight into a sales call.

Best Streamoid alternatives

Photoroom is the strongest option if all you need is product imagery and background work. It is faster to adopt, works standalone, and has a much larger user base. It sells on a tiered credit model, though it does not publish a figure we could verify, and it does nothing for catalog data or range planning.

Vue.ai is the closest like-for-like in fashion AI, covering catalog tagging, styling and personalisation for large retailers. It is a heavier enterprise sale and publishes no pricing whatsoever, so expect a demo cycle before you see a number. Choose it if you need personalisation and recommendations, which Streamoid does not cover.

Creatify at $39 a month for 100 credits and $99 for 300 is the pick if your real need is ad and video creative rather than catalog operations. It is not a fashion tool and has no concept of a tech pack or a product attribute, but it is cheaper to start and simpler to learn.

Final verdict: is Streamoid worth it?

Streamoid is a serious product with an unusually strong customer list and a very cheap effective rate once you understand what you are buying. The three modules cover a workflow that most brands currently run across an agency, a photo studio and a spreadsheet, and 5 cents a credit makes the arithmetic against those alternatives easy. Rollover credits and a real free tier with 300 credits mean you can evaluate it properly before spending anything.

What holds it to 7.5 is presentation. A 35-row comparison table that implies additive allowances against a single pool will mislead careful buyers, the rate card that would fix it is derivable in ten minutes and simply is not published, and “Starting from $50” with no top-up price leaves a real hole in anyone’s budget. Add the fact that every security control sits behind Enterprise, and the self-serve Pro plan is narrower than it looks. Worth buying if you have the catalog volume to justify it. Go in with a credit budget, not a feature checklist.

Streamoid FAQ

What is Streamoid?

Streamoid is an agentic AI platform for fashion and lifestyle brands. It bundles three modules: Artifax for design research, range planning and tech packs, Photogenix for product imagery and short video, and Catalogix for product data enrichment and marketplace listing. All three draw on a single credit balance.

How much does Streamoid cost?

Streamoid is free with 300 credits a month, and Pro starts at $50 a month for 1,000 credits. Enterprise is quote-only. At $50 per 1,000 credits a credit costs 5 cents, which works out at roughly 25 cents per generated product image and 75 cents per short video.

Is Streamoid worth it?

Yes if you have real catalog volume. The effective rates undercut photoshoots and cataloging agencies by a wide margin, and the customer list is unusually strong. Budget in credits rather than by the feature table, which overstates what the plan delivers. We rate it 7.5 out of 10.

What are the best Streamoid alternatives?

Photoroom is the better choice for product imagery alone. Vue.ai is the closest fashion-AI competitor but publishes no pricing and sells through a demo cycle. Creatify at $39 a month for 100 credits is cheaper if you only need ad and video creative.

Does Streamoid offer a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you 300 credits a month, 3 tracked brands and access to all three modules, though generated images carry a watermark. Credits roll over as long as the plan stays active, so it is a workable way to evaluate the platform before paying.

Who is Streamoid best for?

Fashion and lifestyle brands or marketplaces already spending money on photoshoots, cataloging agencies or vendor data cleanup. If you only need one module, look at the standalone products instead: the Photogenix Shopify app is $25 a month for 160 images and works out cheaper per image.
