TrainZilla Review (2026): Pricing, Features & Honest Verdict

Reviewed by MakerStack · Published · 7 min read

TrainZilla is a coaching business platform for personal trainers, with an AI agent that builds plans, reschedules sessions and messages clients. Our verdict: the most interesting thing about it is the MCP server that lets Claude drive your coaching business, and almost nobody is talking about that. Best for: independent fitness coaches in India going online. Price: free plan, then INR 999/mo (about USD 11). Rating: 7/10.

What is TrainZilla?

TrainZilla is software for the business side of personal training. You get a coach profile page, paid offer cards, a client invite link, a marketplace listing, workout and nutrition tools, check-ins, progress tracking, client messaging, payment link support and analytics. There are coach apps on the App Store and Google Play, and a separate free client app your trainees install.

What makes it worth writing about is the agent layer. TrainZilla ships an MCP server exposing 23 tools, which means an external AI client such as Claude can read and act on your coaching business directly. The agent builds plans, reschedules sessions and messages clients, and it runs on credits rather than seats. Reads are cheap, larger generations cost more, credits are charged only when an action succeeds, and a failed or cancelled action costs nothing. When your balance runs low the agent pauses rather than billing you an overage.

It is built by Nitish Gulati, Abhishek Chauhan and Chandrika Negi, and the site claims 100-plus early adopter coaches saving 15-plus hours a week. The positioning is explicitly Indian: rupee pricing, WhatsApp sales scripts, Instagram bio links, and a marketplace aimed at coaches converting DMs into paying clients.

What are TrainZilla’s key features?

An MCP server with 23 tools

This is the part that should interest anyone reading a maker site. Most vertical SaaS products treat AI as a chatbot bolted into their own UI. TrainZilla exposes the business as tools an external agent can call, so a coach can sit in Claude and say “move Tuesday’s three sessions to Thursday and tell everyone why” without opening the app. Doing that in a fitness product aimed at Indian personal trainers, rather than in a developer tool, is an unusual bet and the closest thing here to a moat.

Credit metering that fails safe

Charging per successful action rather than per seat is the right model for an agent, and TrainZilla has thought through the failure cases better than most. You see the cost before you confirm, failed or cancelled turns are free, and a low balance pauses the agent instead of triggering automatic top-ups. The one thing missing is the number, which we come back to below.

Coach page, offers and a marketplace listing

The free tier gives you a coach profile, one paid offer, a basic client invite link and a basic marketplace listing, with TrainZilla branding and limited client slots. Coach Pro removes the caps: multiple paid offers, priority marketplace listing, payment link support and client app access. For a trainer whose current stack is an Instagram bio and a UPI QR code, this is the whole storefront in one place.

Client management and programming

Workout and nutrition tools, check-ins, progress tracking and client messaging are all on Coach Pro, with basic analytics. This is table stakes in the category and TrainZilla does not obviously beat Trainerize or TrueCoach on depth here. It does beat both on price by a wide margin, which is the actual argument.

Done-for-you launch packages

Assisted Launch and Growth Sprint are not software tiers. They are services: a built-for-you coach page, three offer cards, an Instagram bio link, a WhatsApp sales script, a client onboarding message, payment flow setup, marketplace verification and an onboarding call, with Growth Sprint adding a 100-lead starter list, DM and call scripts, a follow-up system, a lead tracker and two review calls. Useful if you are starting from nothing. Just be clear that you are buying an agency engagement with three or six months of software attached.

How much does TrainZilla cost?

TrainZilla starts free and forever. Free Launch gives you a coach profile, one paid offer, a basic invite link and a basic marketplace listing, with limited client slots and TrainZilla branding. Coach Pro is INR 999 a month, currently discounted to INR 499 a month for the first three months as a launch offer. At August 2026 rates that is roughly USD 11 a month at list and about USD 6 during the promotion, though the published price is in rupees and the dollar figures here are conversions rather than a quoted price.

Above that sit two one-time packages. Assisted Launch is INR 4,999 once and includes three months of Coach Pro. Growth Sprint is INR 14,999 once and includes six months of Coach Pro. Both bundle human setup work rather than more software. Cancellation is self-serve with no long-term lock-in, and the client app is free for your trainees on every tier.

Against the category this is very cheap. TrueCoach publishes $26.34 a month for up to five active clients, rising to $57.99 for its next tier. ABC Trainerize prices by client seat bands and starts free for a single client. Coach Pro at INR 999 with no published client cap on the paid tier is a fraction of either, and the gap is wide enough that it is clearly a market-specific price rather than a discount. Coaches billing in dollars should expect that to change if TrainZilla ever prices regionally.

What is not published, and why it matters

The agent credit allowance. TrainZilla says a monthly agent allowance is built into your plan and that exact balances are shown live inside the app. Nowhere on the pricing page does it say how many credits Coach Pro includes, what an action costs, or what a top-up costs. So the headline price is committed and the variable part of your bill, which is the part attached to the feature the product is being marketed on, is not quotable until after you sign up.

That is not the same as quote-only pricing and it is not a reason to avoid the product. The fail-safe design means you cannot be surprised by a bill, since the agent pauses rather than overdrafting. But it does mean you cannot compare TrainZilla’s true cost to anything until you are inside, and a coach running the agent hard could find the effective price is several times INR 999. Ask for the credit table before you commit to a Growth Sprint.

The second gap is evidence. “Trusted by 100-plus early adopter coaches” and “save 15-plus hours weekly” are the only numbers on the site, and neither is attributed to a named coach, a case study or a review. For a product asking for INR 14,999 up front on the top package, that is thin. The free tier is the answer: it costs nothing to see whether the marketplace sends you a single lead.

Who is TrainZilla best for?

Use TrainZilla if you are an independent fitness coach in India moving your business online and your current setup is Instagram DMs, a Google Sheet and a payment link. At INR 499 for the first three months, the storefront, the client app and the payments plumbing cost less than one session’s fee, and the free tier lets you test the marketplace before paying anything.

Use it if you want to run your coaching admin from an AI assistant. The MCP server is real, it is 23 tools deep, and no established competitor offers anything like it. If you already work in Claude every day, that alone may decide it.

Skip TrainZilla if you bill in dollars or euros and need a mature product with a large integration ecosystem, because Trainerize and TrueCoach have years of track record and TrainZilla has a launch. Skip the Assisted Launch and Growth Sprint packages unless you specifically want an agency to build your funnel, since they are services and should be judged as services. And skip it if the undefined credit allowance would make you uncomfortable committing, which is a fair position to take.

Best TrainZilla alternatives

TrueCoach is the tidy, focused option for coaches who mostly need programming and client tracking. It publishes $26.34 a month for up to five active clients and $57.99 for the tier above, with a 14-day free trial and no card required. Better polish and a real track record, roughly triple the price, and no agent story at all.

ABC Trainerize is the incumbent and the deepest product in the category, covering custom programs, meal and macro tracking, wearable integrations, scheduling, product sales, referrals and video classes. It prices by client seat bands starting from a free single-client tier, so your bill scales with your roster. Pick it if you are already at 50 clients and need the ecosystem.

A booking tool plus WhatsApp is what most coaches actually use, and for a trainer with eight regular clients it is not obviously wrong. TrainZilla earns its price when you are trying to sell packages to strangers off a profile page, not when you are managing people you already know.

Final verdict: is TrainZilla worth it?

TrainZilla is a well-judged product for a specific market, with one feature that reaches well beyond it. The coaching business tooling is solid rather than remarkable, and the incumbents do most of it better. The rupee pricing is aggressive enough that an Indian coach barely has to think about it, and the free tier plus the INR 499 launch rate removes almost all the risk of trying.

The MCP server is the reason to pay attention. Exposing a vertical business as 23 agent-callable tools, metered per successful action, is a design more SaaS companies will copy in the next two years, and it is odd to find it first in fitness coaching software from Delhi rather than in a developer platform. That earns the rating a point it would not otherwise have. Start on Free Launch, upgrade to Coach Pro when you have three paying clients, ask for the credit table before you rely on the agent, and treat the one-time packages as consulting rather than software.

TrainZilla Pros & Cons

What We Like

  • MCP server with 23 tools lets Claude or another AI client run your coaching admin directly
  • Agent credits are charged per successful action, and failed or cancelled turns cost nothing
  • A low balance pauses the agent instead of triggering an automatic overage charge
  • Free Launch tier is free forever with a coach profile, a paid offer and a marketplace listing
  • INR 999 a month, roughly a third of what TrueCoach charges for its entry tier

What Could Be Better

  • The agent credit allowance and per-action cost are not published anywhere before signup
  • Assisted Launch and Growth Sprint are agency services sold as pricing tiers, not software
  • Only social proof is an unattributed 100-plus coaches and 15-plus hours saved a week
  • Client management and programming depth trails ABC Trainerize and TrueCoach
  • Rupee pricing and WhatsApp-first positioning make it a poor fit outside India
